Invasive period products (products that you insert into your vagina) such as tampons completely stop your menstrual blood from flowing out. This creates two risks: 1. The vaginal walls can become dry and cracked. This can be painful and may even cause an infection. 2. In rare cases, using invasive period products can lead to toxic shock syndrome (TSS). TSS is a life-threatening disease that is fortunately very rare. It can occur if tampons and menstrual cups are not changed regularly or are even left in the vagina. This can create a bacterial outbreak that can then trigger TSS. Have you ever looked at the back of a tampon pack or visited their website? Unfortunately, very little information is provided about the exact ingredients - and this for a product that many of us insert into our bodies every month. There are many different and very personal reasons why you may not want to insert hygiene products into your vagina. AM Drips can be a great alternative for you - whether you're doing sports or in your everyday life. To put it briefly: AM Drips don't pull or press like tampons and menstrual cups can sometimes do when you're doing sports. And unlike a pad, they're less bulky, don't slip and don't make you sweat.

If you treat your AM Drips well, they will remain fully effective for around 2 years. After that, you can of course continue to use them as "normal" leggings or tights. We would be happy if our AM Drips enjoyed as long a life as possible and were used countless times.

No. Our AM Drips are made of very high-quality, specialized materials that quickly draw the liquid away from you, leaving you feeling clean and dry. Only when the membrane system is completely saturated does it start to feel slightly damp. That is the signal for you to change your AM Drips.

Our AM Drips are breathable, super elastic and highly absorbent. We invested a lot of time in testing so that our membrane system in the crotch area also feels super comfortable and you don't have to worry about sweat or menstrual blood. Regardless of your period, sport in high temperatures or under high stress is sweaty - but our AM Drips are breathable as usual.

No. Our AM Drips are as comfortable and form-fitting as your favorite tights. We use high-quality fabrics that feel absolutely soft, elastic and thin. Overall, the membrane system of the AM Drips is no thicker than 2-3 mm at the thickest point. This means that the insert is not much thicker than the briefs you normally wear under your leggings or shorts.

We love period panties! AM Drips are the perfect addition to conventional period underwear, as they have been specially developed for your more active hours during your period. From development to delivery to your home, we also make sure to have as little impact on the environment as possible and to keep everything as Swiss and local as possible. Here you can find our most important requirements for ourselves and our products: Swiss Made: We have spent almost two years developing our products here in Zurich, Switzerland, and all of our cooperation partners are exclusively Swiss companies. // High absorbency: AM Drips are not only intended to prevent small leakage mishaps, but also to replace alternative products for as many menstruating people as possible - especially during sporting activities. AM Drips hold a large amount of liquid with 20 ml or an absorbency of approx. 2 normal tampons or pads. They can therefore be used not only during sport, but also in many other cases without other period products. // Fair & Social: All AM Drip materials come from Europe and are sewn together by our cooperation partner in sewing factories in Portugal, which produce ethically and ecologically fairly. Please note: Not all of our raw materials for the materials come from Europe, as this is not possible for climatic reasons. // Certified: Nothing comes as close to your body as our AM Drips. We therefore only use fabrics that are certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Our cooperation partner also has the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label. MADE IN GREEN is a traceable product label for all types of textiles and leather items that have been produced in environmentally friendly companies and in safe and socially acceptable workplaces. A prerequisite for MADE IN GREEN is that the product is tested and certified for harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. Another requirement is that the production facility is OEKO-TEX® STeP certified. This ensures that the textile product was manufactured using environmentally friendly processes under socially acceptable working conditions. // Wearing comfort: The materials used for your AM Drips are all elastic and breathable. This means you are not only protected, but also feel comfortable and don't sweat - or not more than you would when exercising anyway. Through our partners from Switzerland in the areas of sports and underwear clothing, we have the pioneers for style and materials on board. This means that you get aesthetic sportswear from us that puts you in the best light and also has great functions integrated.

AM Drips are currently available in four different sizes: XS/S, S/M, M/L and L/XL. The AM Drips are generously cut and very elastic and supple. We therefore tend to recommend that you go for a size smaller than normal. But of course that also depends on what you prefer during your period. If you don't know what size you are, take a look at our size chart under size advice . The best way to measure your hips is horizontally at the widest point of your buttocks. The measuring tape should fit snugly but not cut in. Of course, you can try on your AM Drips at home and exchange them if the size doesn't fit. However, we ask that you do not remove the hygiene label in the crotch area. We would also be very grateful if you did NOT try on the AM Drips during your period and only with underwear. Yes, definitely! You can simply machine wash our AM Drips and then put them back on. This way you are better for the environment than with disposable period products. We even recommend that you wash your AM Drips before you wear them for the first time, as they have already traveled a certain distance to get to you due to being sent by post.

After wearing your AM Drips, it is best to rinse them by hand with cold water. This way, most of the menstrual blood is rinsed out before washing. Then they go in the machine at 40°C. You can wash your AM Drips with other dark laundry without any problem, nothing will happen! If you want to be particularly gentle on your AM Drips, you can also put them in a washing net before putting them in the machine with the rest of your laundry. Please make sure to use a detergent that does not contain bleach, citrate or citric acid - these not only attack the color, but also the membrane of your AM Drips. In general, you should avoid bleach and fabric softener, as both of these can affect the function of the membrane system. Dryers/tumble dryers and irons are taboo for your AM Drips - but they are not necessary anyway, as they dry quickly and hardly wrinkle. Simply hang your AM Drips on the clothesline and they will be ready for use again in no time.

Depending on the source, it is estimated that a menstruating person uses 10,000 to 17,000 tampons or pads over the course of their life. Using AM Drips is a reusable period product and, unlike disposable period products, does not produce any waste. After each use, you can simply rinse your drips with cold water and then wash them at 40° with the rest of your dark laundry. This has a major impact on the carbon footprint that our AM Drips leave behind. A 2018 study by Einhorn shows that reusable period products have a significantly lower carbon footprint than tampons and even organic tampons and pads. The result is close when comparing menstrual cups and period underwear. We have put a lot of time and dedication into our product development to find the best solution for you, all helping hands and the environment. All AM Drip models are developed in Switzerland and 100% manufactured in Europe.

It is extremely important to us that our cooperation partners place the same high value on quality, sustainability and social justice as we do. For the production of our AM Drips, we have found a Swiss partner who is not only familiar with the underwear and sportswear industry, but also lives sustainability at all levels. This is also demonstrated by his certifications: // OEKO-TEX® STeP certificate: It stands for "Sustainable Textile and Leather Production" and ensures an environmentally friendly manufacturing process and socially acceptable working conditions along the entire supply chain. The certification comprises six modules, including chemical management, environmental and social standards and quality management. // OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label: It identifies products that have been manufactured in environmentally friendly companies under safe and socially acceptable conditions. It requires that the materials have been tested for harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and that the production facility is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STeP. The sewing factories work ethically and ecologically fairly. We are in close personal contact with our sewing factories and regularly visit them on site to ensure that the criteria are met (such as the working conditions for the seamstresses).

Our responsibility for dealing with resources and the environment goes beyond production and also extends to the packaging and shipping of your AM Drips. We have therefore looked for and found a packaging expert who shares our values. Our packaging material is made of 100% recycled cardboard and both the boxes and the pretty stickers are printed with 100% water-soluble colors.

The hygiene label in your AM Drips is made from silphium paper. Silphium is a perennial plant that belongs to the daisy family. Silphium, which can grow up to three meters tall, is very productive and binds a lot of CO2 thanks to its rapid growth. It is therefore an environmentally friendly raw material in many ways. Overall, the production of labels from silphium paper has a better ecological balance than classic pulp production. You can recycle the label along with your remaining waste paper.

It all started with a chronic bladder infection. During our monthly Sunday brunch we started researching the causes. You all know the Google searches that you do quickly during a conversation to be able to bring more facts into the conversation. We soon came to the conclusion: disposable menstrual products such as tampons can increase the risk of a bladder infection. Two or three clicks later we had placed our first joint order for period underwear. Skeptics became followers, and the followers became entrepreneurs. 1.5 years later, the AM Drip brand is ready to make women's exercise and relaxation during their period as pleasant, healthy, sustainable and stylish as possible... The term "menstruating people" includes all gender identities. This is because not everyone who menstruates is a woman, and not all women menstruate. For this reason, we consciously avoid speaking exclusively about women in connection with periods. Because in addition to women, other genders also menstruate, such as trans men who were born with female sexual organs. Likewise, not all women menstruate, such as trans women who were born with male sexual organs. It is important to us that everyone feels represented at AM Drip.
